Heres What You Said , 7

Tracey Brown,  Michigan Dept. of Civil Rights  - This is an incredible and worthy endeavor to protect our most valuable treasure; our children. They are tomorrow's leaders, hope for tomorrow and the path to a bright future. Thank you CJ for reminding us that we must all be vigilant in securing their safety. We can and should make a difference. Keep up the great work of enlightening and championing others to take an active role.

Evangelist Shanetria Peterson - Mrs. Brooks, I really love the website and thank it's a wonderful thing that you are doing to help our children who needs to know that someone loves them and cares for them.  If you need my help in anything that you are doing, just let me know and again, I say I truly love the website and bless God for your cause in helping our children.  Blessings.

Donnetta Wilburn  - This website is absolutely beautiful.  Lamaj Terry is my grandson,  and when I saw his name on your list, I had tears in my eyes.  Child Abuse in any form is the worst thing ever.  When my grandson was beat to death at the tender age of 16 months,   I experienced the worst thing ever in my life,  and I still suffer daily.  May he rest in peace.

Deborah Orr  - I wish you light speed in your efforts.

LaKeisha T.  Hankins - God Bless and thank you for inviting me to the site. Continue to stand for our children and do the will of God.

Yvonne Carson, M.Div., MA, MFT - Child abuse has indeed reached epidemic proportions! As a child I experienced sexual, physical, and emotional abuse and child neglect. These horrific experiences did not only happen to me but all my 5 of my sisters experienced these horrible violations! What made this even more horrendous is that they were committed through the hands of "family" members, not strangers!!

We can no longer keep "our business" in the family!! There far, far too many of our children being abused at the hands of their own family members! The African American community/families was wake and realize healing has to take place and seek Christian counseling/therapy and learn how to love and care for our children, recognize that children are a gift from God! It's going to take a miracle from God and a godly strategies to reach into the very souls of humanity to take an active part in fighting for ALL children who fall victim to child abuse!!

Joyce Cooper - Child abuse is one of the most deadly forms of violence against children. If you destroy the mind, there is not much left to savor, and child abuse can make someone feel like a victim for the rest of their lives. When the justice system does not effectively punish those abusers, it is a double dose of torture for the victims. Thank you for taking the time, providing the energy and passion to make an effort to save young victims of child abuse. They need all the help they can get. May God Bless you and wrap HIS arms around what you are doing.

Anonymous - Being an educator and having seen the face of abuse myself,  it is something that we all should be aware of on a daily basis - talking to our children, and watching for those signs that tell us that something is wrong.  Educating an abuser is a very important step in stopping abuse, being that many abusers were abused themselves and feel that what they are doing is justified.  I pray for our children all over the world.  It is not just in our neighborhood.  Abusers have no color, nor social economics.  This is a great work that you are doing, we must continue to watch as well as pray.  May God continue to bless you!!

Anonymous - Prayers go out to all the mistreated.

Debra Wilson - Each child is precious in God's eyes and so should they be in our eyes.  Saving a child is saving our future--it is immeasurable!!

Laura Morrison - To those wagered this fight against Child Abuse, we thank you.  If you give one helping hand, we can save the children of tomorrow.  I am a fighter too, against Child Abuse.

Anonymous - I too am against child abuse, for the soul reason that I too beleive that I was physically abused by a parent. Therefore, if I think that something is wrong I will immediatley report it. For no child deserves to be mistrested in any way at all.

Nadine Kimble  (Woodbridge, Virginia) - May GOD'S hand protect those who are without help, love, hope and family. Our children are extremely precious and they trust us as adults and society to protect and be there for them. We as a people need to come together as one and stop this tragedy of destroying our children. It is not about us but, our children, our future generations and our love for one another. We can save our children, if only one at a time but, we can do this together. Please help our young people to understand that violence is not the answer to tomorrow; our children are the answer.

Tan Daniels (Tallahassee, Florida) - We all must put aside out own selfish needs and wants to protect the children.  They are the future – and it can be a promising future, if we all stand to protect them from all harm. (Edited)

Anonymous - May you be blessed and happy.  I am so thankful for you.  So many children depend on us for support and protection.  I love you!

Ira Sutton (Daytona Beach, Florida) - Well I think Child Abuse is sick. It’s not right to abuse our children.  The people who do abuse our children should be locked up for life, just like that.  I didn't abuse my children, so I don't want to see another child abused.  Yeah … we need to do something about it.

Mrs. Uzoma Fenner  (Montclar de Quercy,  France) - This work that you are doing is so very valuable.  I own a 6 bedded weight loss retreat in France that is an ideal retreat for reflection and tranquility.  If you ever want to use it for your workers to get away from it all, I would be happy to be extremely charitable. This is a genuine offer of support.

Ed Breving (Cincinnati, Ohio) - I too am a victim of Child Abuse.  I was in Foster Care, where I experienced most of my Childhood Abuse.  Many blessings to you.

Grace B. Major  (Baton Rouge, Louisiana) - A child is such a precious human being. Why would anyone want to hurt such an innocent being. There are lots of people out there who wish they could have a child, but then there are those who have children and they either physically, mentally or abuse the child.  With love and utmost respect for children and this cause ...

Brother Bey - Stoddard Baptist Nursing Home (Room  #320) - I have no words for Child Abuse.  I never beat my kids, but would wait instead for the Lord to send me the words so that I could "talk to them" when they misbehaved.

The closest experience I had was in college, when I was beat for 13 weeks, and after the 13 weeks was up, everybody wanted to hug you and tell you that they loved you, but the pain was still there.  Their words meant nothing, because I still remembered what they did.  So I know how it must be for a child.  Anyone who does this to a child must reconcile with God.  It was never necessary to beat my children.

Susan Larmore, Washington, D.C.  (May 29, 2010) - I was visiting your website and I am very interested in purchasing a copy of your autobiography.  Could you kindly email me details of how to purchase a copy?  Thank you.

John Hopkins  (Washington, D.C.) - I saw your web site (Ya'll got a whole lotta options to select between - But all joke's aside.)  I have family who are either institutionalized or about to be institutionalized (take your pick) and I've always heard "stories".  I figure that it's best to do your research before coming to a conclusion. I think that this country overlooks abuse,  (especially on certain groups) so I wanted to hear what you had to say.  Thanks and have a great day.

Rich Breswa - I see you at your next book signing!  Best of Luck!

Anonymous - I just found this website and I wanted to thank you and all those who made this happen. Dwaniko Sudberry went to trial yesterday for the death of his daughter.   I don't know what the end result was, but I do know he was facing life without parole.  This daughter was not mine, but I knew her.   I'm the mother of the first 3 year old he abused.  I was the lucky one,  as I was able to leave and get out once that happened.  It could have been my daughter.  So my prayers go out to all the families of those on these lists and everyone around the world that has lost or been a victim to any kind of child abuse.
