Heres What You Said , 5
BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2010

Dr. Nelson Harrison - Wishing you wings to fly, the vision to dream wildly, The Heart to love deeply and the spirit to embrace all beauty in life. C.J., may you have a prosperous New Year with endless good health, wealth and happiness in 2010. Peace and blessings to you, profound!
Margaret Doherty - I believe Child Abuse is evil to say the least. It destroys the spirit of children and scars them for life. It breaks my heart to know that there are human beings out there that do this to children. I believe a lot more should go towards the awareness of this evil. Our children should be educated more on this issue. Parents and teachers should be made aware of signs of child abuse. Child Abuse is something that is better prevented than cured.
B. Brayboy - I opened an email from you early in the morning (about 4:oo a.m.). I must say that I was so gripped that I did not stop surfing your site until I had accessed almost every menu selection. God shall continue to bless both of you, as you both continue to be a Blessing.
Ramona M. Rembert - My passion in life is the success of children. Child abuse must be abolished in America, particularly in our black community. I am in total disbelief when I read the growing statisics of how innocent children are being abused and/or left homeless because of selfishness. Prayer is definitely our saving grace, however, God is giving us opportunities to get our lives in order, and in turn shield our children from hurt, harm and danger. Let's continue to join forces and strategize for a stronger future. Thank you for this opportunity to share and I look forward to working with your organization.
Courtney Roberts - I think this is a very informative site, and great work.
Felicia Franklin-Belton - Unfortunately, child abuse happens much more than is realized. It is the worst type of crime because it is hurting our future - our children. So often it is overlooked and not reported, and then it takes those children years as an adult to deal with all those issues, or worse; they don't deal with them and many tragic things happen in lieu of. I pray for our children every day.
Tricia Young - I've never been able to visualize or imagine what kind of person would abuse a child. The act itself I do not support and I clearly don't understand the mindset of a someone who abuses. I support your efforts and dedication to the cause. How can I help?
Janine Wafer - Protecting our children or the children of the world is an honorable and worthy act of service. I feel it is our responsibility to be advocates for those who can not speak for themselves, especially our children. My heart aches for abused children - and not only abused children, but homeless children. I believe in this fight to save them from the tragety and many times fatal disfunctional families from which they are breeded and live we must come up with a system of community that will support the entire family structure through education and real, practical help. I care and I support what you are doing. How can I help?
Adelle Banks - We have to protect our children. God has given us these precious little souls. Our job is to protect them and help them to learn positive things about themselves and about the world. We must make them aware that no one has the right to abuse them physically or emotionally. Our children deserve the best and I am determined to help stop child abuse!!! God bless.
Steven c/o ONLINE RX (Amazon.com) - After finding out about this website thru an order placed on Amazon.com, I was fascinated to see this website because I didn’t know such a website existed. My name is Steven and I work for an online pharmacy. Now I am no expert of child abuse or know any statistics but I do know it is cruel and inhumane. I remember when I was in 6th grade of junior high school and we were reading a book “A child called It” how heart touching the story was. But as you grow mature you realize it’s not just a story its reality. This violence takes place all over the world. I think it’s great that someone is taking a stand towards this issue and starting a movement. One Voice/One Sound sounds as if it was started by a really great person who took the time out of his/her life to help others. This is not only respectful it is honorable because I know with my busy lifestyle it would be impossible to start something of this nature, even if I wanted to. I commend the entire staff of One Voice/One Sound for helping bring this issue forward. I hope your website grows into a large foundation one day, to help millions of children across the world. Good Luck.
Lori A. Williams - As a parent and educator, I appreciate you for what you do for our precious children. I have seen the face of child abuse and I have seen the face of the abusers. I am thankful to add my helping hand in the classroom and offer solace and direction to those in need. We all need to protect our children and strive to make this world a safe environment for them. May God continue to bless you.
Bonnie Rankin - I feel that the people that put kids through the pain and suffering of abuse should be hung. I myself was a victim of child abuse many years ago - being locked in closets and beaten. I wish at times I could get a hold of those people and just give them half of what these kids go through. I have supported many causes like this and will support many more.
Chris Kanyane - I learned how children are angels, nice and sweet personally from Michael Jackson books I read and Michael Jackson Tapes - how fragile they are, and how beautiful are. You are doing great work worthy of note for consideration by Washington, D.C. and the United Nations.
Apphia Webster - I feel that child abuse is so uncalled for. I feel that there are a lot of outlets for parents to take advantage of - Family, friends, our churches, communities, hospitals, and many more. Why abuse a child? That child didn't ask to be brought into this world and is innocent. Ask for help if you feel overwhelmed. I am a mother of a little boy and girl. I love them with my whole being. I look at them and know that I could never do that. I want to uplift them so that they are awesome human beings. I don't like child abuse and I feel that we need to do what we can in our community to get the state to understand that they are not doing children any good by allowing them go go back into an unsafe environment. These are my feelings.
Athryn E. Reed Joseph Minkins - For many years I have been trying to find the strength to tell my story of Child Abuse, Incest and my undying need to express my triumph over that guilt and secrets that I have carried for so long. As an adult while serving in the military, I endured sexual assault and a life long struggle with Depression. Every Victim needs to know that it is not their fault, that is okay to tell but ... most of all it is okay to live past the pain.
Charlene Jackson - I am honored to give my voice from my heart to One Voice One Sound. Child Abuse is a heinous act that scars a mind for a lifetime while robbing a child of a sacred innocence. It is a heinous act that we should unite and stand against with more than words. With action, we need to push for punishment, that matches the life long pain of any innocent child. A life for a life! As for our children who have lived and screamed in silence of abuse, who decides to break that silence they should have a loving support system to help them heal the scars of abuse in healthy ways.
We need to set a mandate to put fear in the hearts of insidious and unscrupulous that harming a child will be met with sure and swift consequences. No stone will be left uncovered to get justice for our children. We need to be there - all of us, if we ever want to see an end to such horrific acts against an innocent child. We must stand up! Educate! Rally our legislators for tougher sentences! Create a safe place for families and children who are in abusive situations. There was a time in our history when our children were our greatest gift from God! Our ancestors knew it took a village to raise our children. When do we wake up, our children need all of us: One Voice, One mind, One goal … save our babies! It takes a village.
Craig Warren - My personal feelings for child abuse is Zero-tolerence. As a father of 3 myself, I don't see why would anybody would want to abuse a child. We all get upset, but don't take it out on ANY child. My kids are the love of my life. Most people take their anger out on a child because they know that a child can't defend themselves. These are the type of people that I like to call COWARDS!!!
Dana Nelson - I work with homeless youth and have done so for almost nine years. I have heard horror stories of abuse and am amazed at the courage and survival skills these young people have gained. I ask myself why people have children they don't want. Birth control is an option and something that should be used. I get sick to my stomach when I hear and read how parents, guardians and care givers treat children. I am drawn to their stories and cannot for the life of me stop reading, caring, and wondering, “WHY!!!” I want to help. I oppose any and all kinds of child abuse in all forms. Stop Hurting the Children!
Bradley "Sidekick" Walker - As a parent, abusing your child is not disipline. Train a child the way they should go. There is a way to Correct your child, and there is a way to punish a child with out mentally or bodly harm. If you can't handle your child or don't know how to raise your child there is enough info our here to help you. Love your Babies - they did not ask to come here. God has given all of us a bundle of Joy. God did not abuse you!
Prophetess Willie Mae Davis - Now more than ever, we need to know how to pray the word of God for our Children. Be Blessed. (Edited)
Kenneth Hudson - Thank you for posting this site - The listing includes the names of many of the victims I have heard about previously. Thanks for your concern for our younger generation. (Edited)
Anonymous - Child Abuse is horrible, and robs a child of his or her innocence for life. It is debilitating and robs children of their childhood. As adults we need to be vigilant and protect our children from this horrible infliction.
Shelly Ann Thomas - Hello, I am with Keystone Job Corps Center. We at Keystone are interested in having you as a guest speaker for March. If this is possible, please contact me or Zanita Smith back at the number I provided on the One Voice / One Sound Answering Service. Thank you.
Stephanie Davis - Congratulations on winning the Website Award! Continue to sound the alarm about the epidemic of child abuse. This matter affects every village.
Phillip (Waldorf, Maryland) - I think your work is very important and I will take the time to educate myself with the information on your site.
Anonymous - While browsing your site I began to cry. Why? It brought back some memories that are so hurtful. The reported instances of child abuse are only the very, very tip of the iceberg. There are others that go unreported and only known and suffered by the victims who are subjected to unwanted advances from adults that are not necessarily immediate family members. These experiences have lasting effects on our lives in the long term. I am such a victim. Never have I admitted this before to anyone. Yet I now proclaim it to the world. Stay the course CJ. If you only save one child, it is a victory for the many that may never know peace of mind ... for such abuse.
Re-Ester Norman (Associate Minister / House Of Divine Purpose) - God bless the little angels that have been victimized by Child Abuse. Everyone wants and deserves to be loved, not abused.
Delores Saunders (Texas Neighbor) - CJ, What an awesome site to acknowledge this horrible crime against children. Sad but true, this crime against children does not see color and it happens in all parts of the world --- so sad. Thank God for people like you that want to bring this to the surface!
Minister Veronica Mallet - God Bless You!

Nia Yaa - Your website and divine work has touched me today. As a mother and teacher my heart goes out to our youth. The world is in a place where too many of them do not get to enjoy their childhood. There are so many coming up with broken families and without their needs being met. When we are conscious and work to save our children we are investing in our future. Thank you for doing what you are doing. Much love and many blessings.
Felecia Davis - God Bless the Little Children.

Jyoun Nikee Holmes - I write this with mixed emotions. I am touched by the commendable work that your organization is doing, and yet horrified at some of the stories I've read about on your site. Nevertheless, your work must be done to put an end to the horrible violence that is inflicted upon our children. They are our future and our future must be protected. Keep up the good work and God bless you all.
Myrtis Brown - Children are our future. Promoting and supporting a child's gift brings joy to them as well as others. Parents must stay involved with their child's education, hobbies, and the giving of LOVE! (Edited)
Anonymous - In my professional career, I serve as a supervisor in a child protective agency. One of the hardest things to do is to separate children from their parents, even if the parents are harming their children. One of the biggest goals of the agency is to keep families together by helping them to become healthy in their parenting abilities. Children need healthy parents---emotionally and physically. I too was an abused child and have not only lived to tell the story, but to take what I have experienced and to turn it into something that can benefit another small, precious life into a safe existence. Children are wonderful gifts from God---let's cherish them, embrace them, and love them into fabulous adults who can in turn help others who suffer from the atricities of abuse and neglect.
Anonymous - God bless you, and may heaven smile upon you.
Daphne Rankin - I think your work is awesome! Be encouraged.
Minister R.A. Foust - The Bible teach us that children hold a special place int he heart of God. It is amazing to me how anyone could abuse a child and I believe that God has a special judgement for those who abuse children. It is up to all of us to protect those that can not protect themselves. Be Blessed.
