HERE'S WHAT YOU SAID,  44

Minister Jennifer Ashburn (Sandusky, Ohio) - Your voice is so needed to help those who can not help themselves. Our children need you. Keep up the good work. Peace.
.
Reverend Vanisha M. Taylor - God Bless the Saga.  Keep up the "great" work, Ms. Brooks.  You are doing a wonderful thing.
.
Charlene Graham  (Landover, Maryland) - I am a Survivor of this Epidemic.  My only problem is that I need therapy and cannot afford it.  There need to be programs in place to help people like me get the professional help that I need to cope and deal with my past.  If there is something out there like this, I would appreciate if someone would share it with me.
.
Mrs. Cordelia Bronson (Richmond, Virginia) - I am now going on fifty years old, and it has taken me this long to address my own child abuse issues.  I had buried the pain for so long and so deep that I was completely not relating it to the fact that I was not able to sustain relationships, intimate or otherwise.  Visiting this website has helped me not only to remember,  but to respond as well.  I plan to have a film produced relating to adult effects of child abuse. The more we talk about it,  hopefully the numbers of victims will decrease.
.
Emma Wright  (Cleveland, Ohio) - To all the people who have been a victim of  Child Abuse,  God Bless your souls.  No child deserves to be treated badly.
.
Hallie Henrietta Hall  (Age 12, Baltimore, Maryland) * - Every time I watch any Child Abuse stuff,  my tummy makes me want to throw up, and I get a tight knot that just won't go away until I watch something not about Child Abuse.  My ears ring,  and my hands feel sore, my eyes  hurt,  my body starts to shake ... and it's like I am the one being abused!
.
T.J.  (Age 13) * - My dad hits me.  He does not like me.  Every time I try to talk to my Mother on the phone when she is at work, he slaps me across my face.  I am a 13 year old female,  and  I am really scared ...
.
Mr.  Keyvon Le' Derrick Williams  (DeKalb County, Georgia) - I was emotionally, and physically abused up to age 19.  It still hurts.  I am still dealing with it.  I am 23 years old now, but I am a little different from others.  My Aunts and Uncles abused me, instead of just my parents.  I eventually left home and became a "street kid", but eventually the cops found me and took me home;  that was "not" a fun night.  Be thankful if you have a loving caring family,  is all I have to say.
.
Margaret-Ann Pierre, Esquire  (Facebook) - Something that is near and dear to my heart.  I was a special prosecutor for Abuse and Neglect cases in NOLA. Children are so innecent,  and for the life of me I will never understand why someone would intentionally set out to hurt them. God bless this ministry and all who support its efforts.
.
Valerie Robinson - For the children!  We must keep them safe from all hurt, harm and danger.  Keep up the good work, C.J !
.
Minister Charwin Nah  ( Facebook) - Well I don't like to see anyone, let alone children being abused. I think it is sickening and perpetrators should be punished to the full extent of the law."
.
Otis Brooks  (Facebook) - I'm pretty sure I'm in agreement with virtually everyone who decries child abuse. To say that we can put an end to it suggests that we can stop every instance of child abuse before it starts. I don't know how to do that but I would think that continued education and training would help those who may be misinformed as to what child abuse. For those who are just evil, training and education won't help. Somehow, they need to be identified and children have to be protected from them. What us can I do specifically? Keep my eyes open - speak up if something doesn't seem right. Get involved in the benefit of children in general.

Israel Bowman (Facebook) – I hate Child Abuse.  Jail is not the punishment for it; Death is!

Michael DeVeaux  (Facebook) - Child abuse is a serious issue. I think the government doesn't take the seriousness of it far enough. I also believe in that if you spare the rod, you spoil the child. There is a right and a wrong way to correct your children when they are doing wrong.

Elder Gregory L. Pelham   (Facebook) - What would I do to put an end to Child Abuse?  Those that are found guilty would receive greater punishment for their crime of abuse on a child.   It is so sad to see a child abused by their parents or family member or even foster parents. I really hate child abuse because these kids have no voice whatever, because they are afraid.

Minister Riva Edmonds (Facebook) - I support your cause. God is with you.  Go forward and break destructive cycles.

Desiree Simms (Facebook) - Child Abuse is such an awful thing.  No one deserves to be abused mentally physically or in any way!  My heart aches for these children!  Thank God it never happened to me!  And if there is anything I can do to help you, please let me know. God Bless You!

Anonymous - God Bless you as you strive to find help for all that have been abused!!!! I am praying for all that have been abused in any form or fashion - In Jesus' name Amen!!!!

Minister T. Renee Crutcher  (Facebook) - God grant you the courage to continue in the fight to eradicate and bring awareness to child abuse! You are supported in this effort by the prayers and voices of others!

Minister Nancy Kelton (Traylor) (Facebook) - I will continue to pray for you and the cause that are so very passionate about. We serve a "Miracle Working" God! We are all still a work in progress! Blessings to you.

Yvonne S. Lamb (Facebook) - I pray that the abuse of African American children and all children will stop.  Too many of our young children are being hurt physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.  This insidious epidemic against our children must stop.

Reverend Jacqueline Perkins - Thank you very much C.J., for your good job these years in providing us with the best inside view of the Child Abuse Epidemic.

Minister Lloyd Tompkins - When I first started reading your website,  I felt slightly resentful at having to read about our African-American Children on what seemed to be the only website like this.  But due to the exceptional insight and enthusiasm that you bring to the site, I am thrilled with just the “one”.  Keep up the good work, my Sister.

Mrs. Darlene Whitehead, R.N. (Suburban Hospital Center) - I am proud of you.  You are the best site on the globe.  Keep up the great work.

Lilliana King (Bethesda, Maryland) - Congratulations on such a brilliant website, Ms. Brooks.

Mr. Garner Fishbein (Manassass, Virginia) - Ms. Brooks, I wanted to let you know that I think your writing is spot on. I have been reading your pages here on this website, and I commend you on your ability.  I am a financial journalist and appreciate good writing when I see it.  Thanks for the good read, and keep up the enthusiasm and motivation.
